[Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear”] is changing my life at the moment – as someone who has lost a bit of inspiration, of motivation, to write, with a demanding day job and other priorities. Elizabeth is reminding me of why it’s important to pursue your creative passions without fear or agenda, and without this, I wouldn’t be close to sitting in a coffee shop, writing this post, and thinking about what I love.

However, there has been this calling, to utilize this magical power. To write is to love, to sacrifice the nuances and mystery I want to keep to myself, but allowing others to see the world from my back or on top of my shoulder. To write is to create a new world for others to seek refuge in from the other alternative worlds- where madness, hatred, segregation, fear, competition, hecticness, control, anxiety takes over and souls are long lost in the wilderness.
